HCMV Vaccine

16-35 years old | Healthy Females

To assess the effectiveness and safety of a Cytomegalovirus (CMV) Vaccine compared to placebo in healthy women, 16-35 years of age.

Eligibility

• Agree to avoid pregnancy during the 6-month treatment phase and for 4 weeks after last dose.
• Have direct exposure to young children (<5 years of age) at home or on the job.
• Not have been exposed to CMV before, as determined by a blood test at screening.

Trial Duration

8 visits plus at home urine/saliva collections over 3 years

Compensation

May receive $100 for each on-site visit and $25 for each monthly at-home collection
