This clinical trial is studying an investigational oral medication to evaluate its potential to safely and effectively manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. The goal is to explore new ways to help reduce elevated blood pressure and lower the risk of heart-related complications over time.

High blood pressure often has no symptoms, which is why it’s commonly called the “silent killer.” Nearly 1 in 2 adults in the U.S. has high blood pressure, a condition that can increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, kidney damage, and more. Research like this is essential to developing better, more effective treatments for those affected.

If you qualify and decide to participate:

• You may receive the oral investigational medication or a placebo.

• All study-related medical care and monitoring will be provided at no cost.

• You may earn over $3,000 for your time and participation.

• You will contribute to critical research that may help improve treatment for high blood pressure in the future.

Trial Eligibility

• Ages 18 to 75

• Diagnosed with high blood pressure (140/90 or higher)

• Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 or greater
