Adolescent Chronic Constipation

12-17 years old | Male or Female

To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an already FDA-approved once daily pill to treat chronic idiopathic constipation in adolescents 12-17 years of age.

Eligibility

• Have less than 3 bowel movements per week (without the help of rescue medication)
• Have straining or history of painful bowel movements
• Follows a normal diet

Trial Duration

5 office visits over approximately 14 weeks

Compensation

May receive up to $275 for study-associated time and travel
