This trial will compare an investigational migraine medication to a placebo (it will look like the medication, but it will contain no active ingredients). There is a 75% chance of you receiving one of the doses of the investigational medication.
Eligibility
- Cannot have an autoimmune disease
- Cannot be in another clinical trial
- MUST have a migraine diagnosis
Trial Duration
Up to 3 office visits over approximately 80 days.
Compensation
$112.50 completed 1st appointment, $112.50 completed 2nd appointment, $150 completed 3 appointment. Additional compensation if all diary entries are completed on time.

Hypercholesterolemia
Males and females, 50+ years of age
Health Research of Hampton Roads is looking for males and females 50 years of age and older to participate in a high cholesterol clinical trial. This trial is to evaluate the efficacy (how well the drug works in lowering cholesterol) and safety of the investigational cholesterol lowering medication in individuals at high cardiovascular risk.
Eligibility
- Must be taking a cholesterol medication
- Must have elevated cholesterol numbers
- Must have had a heart attack
Trial Duration
This trial will be about 4.5 years long (potentially a maximum of 6 years), and you will have up to 18 visits & 12 phone calls

This clinical trial is for overweight individuals diagnosed with hypertension (high blood pressure). This trial will compare orforglipron to a placebo (it will look like the medication, but it will contain no active ingredients).
Eligibility
- Must NOT have had previous weight loss surgery.
- Must have a BMI over 25.
- Must have blood pressure 140/90 or above.

Researchers are testing an investigational oral COVID-19 vaccine to see if this vaccine will help in the prevention of COVID-19 infection or symptoms due to COVID-19 infection. This study will also evaluate how well people tolerate taking the study vaccine. Everyone will receive a tablet and an injection one time – one will be medication & the other placebo.
You will also have to travel to our site WEEKLY for 50 straight weeks to drop off swabs; therefore you MUST live within 30 minutes of our site in order to participate in this trial.
Eligibility
- Cannot have an autoimmune disease
- Cannot be in another clinical trial
- MUST have had 2 or more previous Pfizer and/or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines
Trial Duration
Up to 7 office visits over approximately 12 months.

This clinical trial is to evaluate bone mineral density with long-term use of Relugolix combination tablet (Myfembree). This is an oral medication (taken by mouth). Currently, this medication is FDA approved for 2-year use, and this trial will study the medication taken over 4 years, and follow changes in bone mineral density for 1 year after treatment has stopped.
Eligibility
- MUST have a medical diagnosis of endometriosis.
- MUST have pain and heavy menstrual bleeding.
- Cannot have a diagnosis of major depressive disorder, bipolar depression, PTSD, or schizophrenia.
Trial Duration
5 year trial with appointments occurring approximately every 6 months.
