This clinical trial is studying an investigational oral COVID-19 vaccine to evaluate its potential to effectively prevent the infection or symptoms of COVID-19. The purpose of this research is to understand how well the study vaccine is tolerated and whether it may reduce the risk of illness caused by the virus that causes COVID-19.
The vaccine is taken by mouth in tablet form and is being studied as part of a randomized, placebo-controlled trial. Participants in this study play a key role in advancing clinical research that could support future vaccine development and public health.
If you qualify and decide to participate
- You will receive both an oral tablet and an injection—one will be the investigational vaccine and the other will be a placebo.

Willing to accommodate 7 in-office visits and 26 phone contacts across the trial’s duration.

Able to perform nasal-swabs on yourself at home and drop them off weekly at our site for a year.

Have a smart phone where you can perform check-ins via a mobile app.

If you develop symptoms of COVID-19, you will be required to contact the study site immediately and attend a sick visit at the site within 3 days.

All study-related medical care and monitoring will be provided at no cost.
